OUR APPROACH � 3 A�s OF LEARNING

Our approach is based on what we term the �3As� of learning
First we aim to ACCELERATE learning - ensuring rapid understanding through memorable experiences. We begin by recognising that cultural behaviour is conditioned by invisible norms. These are best brought to the surface through active learning involving experiences. This is why we have invested in designing powerful, thought-provoking, experiential learning activities and tools, including simulations, role-plays, and task-based cases. It is also why we have developed our own skills as facilitators able to sustain the high level of energy created in in such events. We strongly believe in drawing on the international experience of individuals and the diversity within the training group as a further stimulus to reflection and awareness.

Next we seek to ALIGN learning � ensuring that whatever people learn is relevant to the real-world issues they face. To ensure this happens, we conduct up-front in-depth research to define organisation�s development needs and individual expectations. We ensure all activities are customised to touch on the right issues, hit the right chords and answer the right questions.

Finally we enable individuals and teams to ACT on learning � transferring the attitudes and skills that they have developed into the workplace. In order to act, individuals are helped to link their learning explicitly to their past experience, present roles and future challenges. By using a range of techniques, for example moving from off-site workshops to distance learning at the workstation, we help to ensure that there is a smooth transition from awareness-building to practical action.

We integrate the 3As into all of our programmes. Whatever the issues being addressed or the solutions being used these three objectives underpin the whole programmes.
